- Weather station: Ecowitt WH65B
- Data capture: Ecowitt GW11000
- Data is measured in metric units (Celsius, mm, etc.) and converted to imperial units (Fahrenheit, inches, etc.) for display. Pressure is captured in hPa/millibars and displayed the same.
- All timestamps are recorded in UTC and coverted to
America/Los_Angelesfor display. - Forecasts: The OpenWeatherMap API, retrieved every 30 minutes.
- Backend: data is captured through a custom Rust application and forwarded to this site via an HTTP endpoint.
- Frontend: this site is built using Ruby on Rails. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database.
